Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 305

This one is built around power: a stiff frame that does not flex at impact and gives the energy back. It weighs 305 g, with a 98 sq in (630 cm²) head, 315 mm balance, 685 mm length and a 16x19 pattern. The smaller head brings more control, and a rounded head shape with reinforced sections adds stability.

A stiff frame sends more vibration into the arm, and X-Damp answers that: a steel piece in an elastomer pocket in the handle moves against each ball impact, giving 36% less harmful vibration and less fatigue. Isoflex adds stiffness across the head and widens the playing area for off-centre hits. Lighter versions in the line: the TF-X1 V2 300 at 298 g, V2 275 at 275 g and V2 255 at 255 g.
