The 25-inch Speed Jr. is built as a scaled-down, lighter adult Speed. It has a 230 g graphite frame and the same Hy-Bor that gives stability and a solid feel on contact. The size is meant for 126-140 cm, about ages 8 to 10.
The frame profile adds power and damps unwanted vibration, letting a child hit fast without feeling the shock in the arm. It is recommended for ambitious juniors with a quick game. When your child outgrows it, the series has 26-inch rackets at 250 and 255 g.
