The 23-inch IG Speed Jr. weighs 215 g and is sized for a height of 113-125 cm, on average 6 to 8 years old. Its graphite composite frame with Innegra and DAMPPlus absorbs vibration well. Impact does not jar a young arm even while technique is still rough.
It is easy to control, and that matters most when a child is learning the grip and the swing. Check the size by height rather than age. When your child grows, the next racket in the series is 25 inches and 240 g.
