Babolat Pure Aero 98 Gen9 Unstrung

A smaller head of 98 sq in and a denser 16x20 pattern: among the adult Pure Aero Gen9 rackets this version gives the most control. Spin is a little lower than on the 100 sq in, 16x19 frames, but the ball is easier to place. It weighs 305 g, yet the frame moves faster in the hand than that number suggests: the 315 mm balance sits toward the handle.

Stiffness 70 RA. On the technology side it has AEROMODULAR4, NF²-TECH 2.0 and FSI SPIN, with Syntec Pro on the handle. Sold unstrung: tension 21-25 kg, strings RPM Blast, RPM Team or RPM Hurricane, overgrip Pro Tour 2.0 or My Overgrip.
