Yonex 08 Vcore Alpha L Ruby Red

A teenager or beginner who still finds the 280 g Vcore 100L a bit heavy gets the same Vcore family in the Alpha L at 260 g. Quick to accelerate, the light frame puts spin on the ball even from a modest swing. It responds well both when you need to place the ball and when you want to attack.

The open 16x18 pattern spins readily, and a 335 mm balance leaves a little weight in the head for stability. Servo Filter and VDM are built into the frame and the head absorbs vibration well, which means less fatigue over regular practice. The factory strings can later be swapped for Rexis, Polytour Rev or Polytour Pro. Between the Alpha L and the 100L sits the Alpha 100 at 275 g.
