Wilson RF 01

This frame sits in the middle of the RF 01 range: 300 g, where the Future weighs 280 g, the Future Lite 265 g and the PRO 320 g. Manoeuvrable and forgiving, it suits a game built on speed and spin. At 64 RA the stiffness is kind to the arm.

It shares its frame geometry and technology with the RF 01 PRO. The layup, called SABR, uses carbon fibre with Braid FORTYFIVE to lengthen dwell time and let the frame flex with the low-to-high swing of modern topspin. Contact feels solid with foam filling the frame along its full length. A reinforced shaft and throat resist twisting. With 98 sq in, a 315 mm balance and 16x19 strings it stays precise without punishing every miss.
