Tecnifibre Fire 260 OS

A 710 cm² (110 sq in) head makes this an oversize: it forgives a mistimed shot, and when you do find the centre, it adds extra power. At 260 g the racket is very light and easy to move. In the Fire line it is the best mix of lightness and forgiveness, recommended for young competitors and doubles players.

Light frames vibrate more, which is where X-Damp comes in. A steel part in an elastomer pocket in the handle moves against the impact, leaving 36% less harmful vibration. The section is squarer and 5% slimmer, and weight has shifted toward the centre of the frame. Grip changes come quicker with handle bevels that are easier to feel.
