Wilson US OPEN GS 105 strung

The enlarged 105 sq in head has a wide area that sends the ball where it should go, and it forgives off-centre contact. For an intermediate or recreational player that means fewer balls in the net.

Falling near the middle of the racket, the 330 mm balance leans neither to the head nor to the handle and keeps power and control in balance. Its open 16x19 pattern lets the strings bite for spin. The thin graphite composite beam has a comfortable stiffness, neither too firm nor too soft. The frame weighs 279 g and comes strung. The US Open Pro 100 is lighter at 270 g, with a more compact 100 sq in head.
