Wilson Pro Staff Precision 103 black/red

The 350 mm balance sits well toward the head. Combined with a light 270 g graphite frame, that gives a racket which adds pace to the ball even on a short swing. The 103 sq in head widens the area that produces a clean hit, and the slightly extended frame adds reach, which you notice most on serve.

Recreational players and beginners will find it undemanding. PWS and BLX with Basalt look after feel and comfort. The ball flies on a steadier line off the 16x20 pattern, which is denser than the common 16x19. For a heavier frame with an even larger head, the Pro Staff Precision RXT 105 offers 289 g, 105 sq in and a balance of 330 mm, closer to the handle.
